Abstract

The three-way valve is provided with a double-sided valve head (5) attached to the rod (6). The valve rod is attached by a pin (12) to the shaft (11) which has a slot (10) to receive the end of the rod. The shaft (11) is mounted between horizontal guide plates (17, 18) which fit in grooves in the body (1). The ends of the shaft fit between the plates (13a) forming a fork (13) on the end of the operating lever (14). The pins (12, 15) secure the plates to the shaft. When the lever is rotated (F), the rod (6) is lifted upwards and the shaft (6) moves sideways so that no side loads are exerted.
