Abstract
The disc brake has two retaining pins which are parallel to the disc axis, one friction pad having two extensions by which it is engaged on the retaining pins. A retaining spring extends between both pins and is wound around them, the spring bearing on the friction pad. Both pads may be mounted in this way, the pins extending in pairs from the opposite sides of a support. The extensions may be formed as hook shapes, and the spring may be shaped so that it extends on both sides of the pad.
