Abstract

A total energy control system for take off and control system of an aeroplane, controls the aerodynamic inclination (gamma a) to a selected value of inclination or climb (gamma d). This itself represents the total inclination or climb (gamma t) being modulated by the deviation of the velocity (V) from the required velocity (V2). A warning or display signal (delta) is passed between the aerodynamic inclination (gamma a) and the selected inclination (gamma d) by means of a notched positional beam (2) or by means of a Lectz horizon (3).
