Abstract

The tanker is fitted with an outer reservoir (2) having an inlet valve (8) and furnished inside with a flexible membrane (5) attached to he rearward end flange of the tank, and separating the tanker into two separate compartments (3) a and (4). The outside tank has a dished-end (6) hinged at the top (7). The tanker initially carries clean water within the space (3) and the membrane (5) is collapsed in the tank. Pressure applied to the space (4) forces the water out of the tank. Sludge may be aspired into the space (4). By opening the end cover (6) and supplying air pressure to the space (3) the membrane may be reversed, and the sludge discharged.
