Abstract

A protection device is for children being carried in a car. It has a front throat part (1) in a semi supple foam shape. Through this throat is passed an adult's abdominal safety belt (2). Underneath the foam shape is an opening for the child's leg's, not fixing them. The lateral retention of the protector is done by hooks (3) of S shape. One part of the S goes through an opening in the side panels of the protector. The device is particularly useful when the belt is of the type with three points - a lower belt (12) and an upper one (13), held by a buckle. It can be used quite easily also with two point type belts.
