Abstract

A water-soluble, dry, nitrogeneous, solid concentrate for animal feed comprises (by wt.) 25-50% dry soluble molasses, 20-40% urea, 0-10% monoammonium phosphate, 8-20% urea phosphate, 5-10% CaCl2, 0-1.5% citric acid, 0-3% magnesia hydrate, 0-5% starch, 0.5-1.5% FeSO4, 0.5-1% oligoelements, 0-2% yeast autolysate and 0.1-0.2% vitamins. The concentrate is 100% water-soluble and serves as a complete nitrogeneous base feed for polygastric animals. The prodn. may be fed in solid form or in aq. soln. Assimilation of non-protein N is enhanced.
