Abstract
The coupling has a first degree of freedom in the form of a driving shaft fastened to a driving rotor. There is a second degree of freedom in the form of a driven shaft connected to a driven rotor, and a stator with an induction coil and bearings. A third degree of freedom is derived in the form of a connecting element (19, 22) with planetary gears (25) for connection of the driving rotor (27) and driven rotor (28). The connecting element (19, 22) interacts with the induction coil (6) through eddy currents, and, depending on its speed, provides the coupling between the driving and driven rotors (27, 28). A cooling device (8) is provided on the stator (1) near the electrically active zone (23) of the connecting element.
