Abstract
The housing contains an engine to automatic gear box coupling in a rod vehicle. There is an axle stop to prevent inadvertent displacement of the pump wheel axle. The stop may be of plastics is of truncated cone form, and is secured in a matching hole in the housing wall by a bayonet type connection. The hole is sited near the larger opening of a bell shaped housing. The hole may be of key hole section with two opposed notches on the outer rim. The stop has a major radial locking lug, a chamfered head, and an aft face spanner socket. The stop tail also has a circumferentially slotted flange with two opposed minor lugs. The stop (23) is inserted and rotated locking the major lug on the inner wall face and the minor lugs in the notches.
