Abstract

The device is notably for the carburation tank of an aircraft which contains fuel pressurised by gas which may need emptying rapidly. the opening of the device comprises a support bearing for a valve which is held elastically against the bearing and is fitted into a stop valve, formed like a cover. The stop valve is mounted on a shaft, which is guided centrally in the device and can be moved between two positions one corresponding to the valve being open and the other corresponding to the valve being shut. This occurs when a a collar on the shaft is gripped in jaws moved by an electromagnet.
