Abstract

The device is for fitting to the edge of vehicle doors to protect the paint from damage. It is of flat form of rubber or plastic, coloured or self coloured. It is held by a pincer action of the outer panel of the door. Being flat, the device does not spoil the external appearance of the vehicle. It can be of different lengths, according to the amount of protection required. It is securely fixed to the door and cannot be removed if the door is closed and can be fitted to any vehicle. The material used can be reflecting to give a safety feature.
