Abstract

The injection moulded plastic housing, for electrical components, has one or more support rails (4) across its base. The rail has projecting lips (5) and is moulded as one piece with the rest of the housing. The bottom of the rail is separated from the bottom of the housing by a slot. The slot's width is less than the width of the rail's projecting lips. The rail is reinforced with transverse walls or ribs. The holes for the fixing screws are located on the inside of the rail.
