Abstract

The constant current supply source is suitable for feeding one or more tandem stages of I2L circuits from a source of very variable voltage with a minimum power dissipation. The unit has a first current distribution path of a diode D1 in a circuit B1 bridging the base-emitter junction of an NPN transistor T2. The emitter of T2 is connected to the negative line L2 and its collector/emitter junction is included in a second current circuit B2, connected to the positive line L1 via the collector/emitter junction of a pnp transistor with a resistance in its emitter circuit.
