Abstract

The pallet case consists of a pallet base having a solid or latticed floor (1) nailed to fair parallel beams (2, 3) which are joined underneath by shoe pieces (4). On this base are mounted fair side walls (5) made from wood planks (6) nailed to uprights (7). Each upright comprises two right-angled isosceles triangular pieces which ar dovetailed together, each wall carrying half an upright at each end. The bottom of each upright has a projection which fits into a slot at the end of the outside beams. The beams and uprights are made from mouled synthetic material which has a smooth surface and can be nailed.
