Abstract

The tube bundles may be substd. with or used in conjunction with plates inclined at-two slopes. The method can be applied to open appts. made of concrete or other material. Flocculation and decantation can be combined to make the best use of the space available. Sepn. takes place more rapidly and efficiently than in existing appts. in which sloping parallel plates are used. the process can be applied in plants operating under press.
