Abstract

The cine film camera winding system uses two spools (2, 15) situated in the same plane. The free space between them, due to the reduction in diameter of the feed spool (2) is progressively occupied by the takeup spool (15) whose diameter increases. The two spools are placed on axes which can be displaced along slides (3, 24). The directions of these slides are not the same nor parallel. The slide (3), in which the feed spool axis is located, is rectilinear. The slide (24) in which the axis of the takeup spool is located, has the form of an annular section. The geometric centre of this slide (29) is that of the gearwheel (13) which drives the pinion (23) on which the spool axis is mounted.
