Abstract
An equipment is used to control the landing approach of an aircraft along its guide path. It controls the deceleration during the deceleration phase of the aircraft. It also indicates to the pilot whether correction is required of the deviation between the total slope and the reference slope. The equipment comprises a display (3) with two indicators (2, 4). When the pilot proceeds with the procedure of glide path capture, he presses the triangle indicator to start the decelerated approach equipment. When the aircraft is at a given first altitude, and first instant in time, the arrow indicator lights-up and informs the pilot to initiate the first deceleration phase and to lower the undercarriage, reset the wing flaps and adjust the engine throttle. When the aircraft is at a given second altitude and instant, the arrow indicator again nforms the pilot to reset the wing flaps.
