Abstract

This gripping device for movable play figures is in the form of one fixed and one movable hook fitted to the end of the arm. Fixed in the end of the arm (32) is the female piece (42) in whose base (46) is a slot (45) into which fits an 'L' shaped peg (58) of the male piece (62) which is then turned to lock in place. On the base of the male piece (62) is a fixed grip hook (63). A second movable, hook (66) pivots in a slot (72) in the male piece (62) on an axle (70). At the top of the movable hook (66) is a grip (74) which projects from the slot (72) to assist operation. The hook grip is opened by the handle and the object offered to the hand. The grip then closes by means of a return spring (78) to hold the object.
