Abstract

The roofing tiles have adhesive on one face, and on the other face, in the position opposite the adhesive on the neighbouring tile, a film which the adhesive is capable of wetting. This allows the adhesive joint to form propertly in all weather conditions. Pref. the (perforated or crimped) dust-resistant film (15-80 mu of Al or 10-50 mu of polyester) forms an integral part of the underneath face of the tile; and the adhesive has a removable protective cover and is of bitumen modified by a thermoplastic polymer with an adhesive resin added.
