Abstract

The awning has two or more suspension brackets (2, 3), to which a closed box (1) is attached, accommodating the awning canvas (5). A folding arm (29, 30, 31) is mounted on each bracket, pivoting on it. The strip at the free edge (6) of the awning is attached to the free ends of the arms in such a manner as to allow horizontal adjustment of the strip in any arm position. The brackets can have grooves in a circular pattern for the arm hinge bolts, to allow arms and awning to be set to any desired angle.
