Abstract

The tubular post contains a vertical stand pipe (11), a water outlet (10) and tap control linkage (13) is for converting a ground level water supply outlet (101, 102) into a raised outlet. The post (1) is 900mm high and the raised outlet is 800mm above ground level, thus meeting the City of Paris and Sanitary Department standards for irrigation outlets utilizing the mains water supply. The vertical standpipe (10) may be of flexible hose with a threaded sleeve connector (12) at the bottom. The tap control linkage may comrpise a rotatable rod (13) of adjustable length (14) which engages a spigot (102) on the ground level tap. The outlet (10) and rod head (103) may be covered by a demountable cap (2).
