Abstract

The dye reservoir is for use with stencilling machines, and has a discharge piston and marking lines on the side. These are visible through a sight hole in the machine, and show the setting of the dye discharge ports of the feed device. It is made of a synthetic dye-resistant material, with the marking lines (2, 3) having transparent sections (4). Both the port settings and the amount of dye remaining are observable at the same time being represented by the piston position. An annular groove (13) is situated at the bottom of the reservoir which can be treated to form transparent portions in the marking lines.
