Abstract

A rectangular block (1) has shouldered shallow bored connection points in the centre, preferably, of each end and two opposite faces. Portions of the block (6) are cut away near each end of the other two opposite faces. This leaves the block with effectively square flanged ends (2) and two square flanges in the middle of each side which has not been cut away. Each flange has bolt holes (3) in each corner, the cut away portions of the block allowing access to fit nuts to the bolts. Various internal passage connections may be made so that a network can be built up by bolting blocks together. Seals may be retained in the wider bore.
