Abstract

The two-part bottle sealing cap comprises an externally screwed plug with an internally screwed sealing bore and an internal elastic spout for pouring spraying or drip-feed. This also acts as a joint, and has a central liquid outlet tube and an air inlet tube. The spout can be joined to the screwed plug to form a complete removable unit. The screwed plug (1) has an additional tapped bore (5), by means of which the liquid outlet tube of the pouring spout can be subjected to torsional load. The wall of this tube can be of varying thickness, and its outer periphery can be non-round, preferably oval or elliptic.
