Abstract

The rotor assembly carries a number of loading trays (18) which maintain their horizontal orientation regardless of their angular position. Two rotor arms (10, 11) are located by two offset horizontal shafts (12, 13). A pivot pin protruding at right angle from each rotor arm end is used to provide a swivel location for the trays (18). Since the axis of rotation for the two rotor stars (10, 11) are eccentric, the load trays are held horizontally regardless of their loading. It is also possible to have a rotor assembly which has both rotor stars on the same side of the load trays.
