Abstract
An electrical device for driving away mosquitoes generates at one with a frequency to drive the unmated female mosquito away, which is the only one requiring blood to form the egg. The device consists of a housing, a tone generator, a voltage source and a stopper. The housing is cylindrically shaped wth a fountain pen type clip for holding in the pocket. The tone generator consists of a multivibrator and a loudspeaker. The loudspeaker can be either of the magnetic type or the piezoelectric type. The battery supply source is at one end of the cylindrical housing, which can be dismantled like a pencil torch.
