Abstract

The supermarket publicity trolley comprises a four-wheeled chassis and an oblong horizontal basket open at the top. The basket (3) is bell-mouthed towards the front, while the chassis (1) is bell-mouthed towards the rear, and the two are joined together near the front end. The chassis may have a frame above the level of the basket, with two lengthwise members sloping downwards (4,5) in the forward direction. When seen in plan view, these are at an angle open towards the rear, being joined at the rear end by a handle (2).
