Abstract

The chassis (1) carries a horizontal support (4) with semicircular back part; and two shafts. Each shaft has an arm which swings in a horizontal plane and carries a hood (7) inside which is a conveyor belt (8). The top (9) of each hood is open and the inner end of each hood has an opening (10). On the side of each arm is a vertical arm (11) to which is attached a horizontal arm the end of which is coupled to a link. The arm (11) supports a housing (14) inside which is a conveyor belt (15) and above which is a cutter (16) as well as a compression roller (17). The compartment under the hook (20) contains a fan (27) slightly above the openings (10) in the hoods (7). Below the openings (10) is a hopper (29) ending in a box (30) containing a conveyor-belt leading to a bucket conveyor.
