Abstract

The heater has a cylindrical vessel insulated on the outside with a jacket outside the insulation. An inner cylinder runs through the centre of the vessel leaving an annular space round it within the vessel. This space is filled with an intermediate liquid which can be chemically treated water. The domestic hot water is inside the central cylinder which it enters at the bottom and leaves it at the top. Electric immersion heaters are placed in the intermediate liquid in the annular space.
