Abstract

The corner connector system having two component sections has the first and second components constructed with hollow end pieces. One wall (14) of each hollow end piece has a hole (25) at some distance from the end of the component. An insert (27) with two arms is accommodated in the hollow end pieces of the first and second components (10, 11). The arms of the insert (27) have slits (28, 29) and attachment elements (30, 31) which are inserted into the holes (25, 26) and screwed down into the arms of the insert (27) and thus matched up with the slits (28, 29) in the arms of the insert (27).
