Abstract

A scent spray has a lower part (2) which fits into a dip tube inside the scent container. A pusher (10) at the top is mounted on a sleeve (9) with a slot (9a) down one side so that the jet member (15) can discharge sideways when the pusher is forced down. Below the sleeve is an intermediate tube (8) which fits inside a flange collar (4) in turn resting on the flanged top (1a) of a portion (1) integral with the lower part (2). This lower part carries a ball valve (3). Inside the intermediate tube (8) is an inner tube (13) with a pointed base which rests inside a conical seating (11) above the ball valve. This inner tube carries a spring (16) trapped inside the collar (4). The liquid is forced up inside the inner tube to the jet member (15) when the pusher is forced down. The conical seating (11) has recesses on (11c) on its contact face to allow the liquid to pass upwards from below.
