Abstract

A weighbridge with several strain gauge dynamometers has automatic balancing with numerical display of applied load Digital processing circuits with a comparator ensure that the weight is displayed only when successive cycles of operation produce a weight within a given range. An electronic weighbridge has a load transducer comprising several strain gauges in a Wheatstone bridge whose output is connected to an analogue to digital convertor. The convertor output is connected to a time base oscillator followed by four decade dividers connected to an indicator and also an output printer. The weight for each cycle of operation is stored in memories which only enable the printer when successive values are within a pre-determined range.
