Abstract

The machine comprises vertical chains (2, 3) driven from a motor. These have a platform (1) for the pallet (5), which is moved to its highest position. The load is delivered by conveyor onto a table 14) and manually slid onto another table (6) above the pallet. Side plates (9, 11) move inwards and push the items together. The table pivots (XX) upwards (14') and the loading table moves underneath (6'). The load is deposited onto the pallet which starts to descend. An arm (8) is released and held until it rides over it. The arm contacts the switch (17) and stops the descent, ready for the next cycle.
