Abstract

The scraper tool is primarily for use in removing hoar frost or ice from windows, and includes an electrically heated edge (4) which melts the ice in advance of the scraper blade (1). The tool includes a scraper blade (1) which is mounted on a tubular handle (3). A 'V' sectioned projection (4), of which the apex is parallel to the blade (1), forms the heated edge. The electric resistance type heating element (2) may be contained in the 'V' sectioned projection (A). A thermostat (5) may be included and the feed wire (6) may be provided with a plug (8). The plug (8) may adapt to an automobile cigar lighter socket.
