Abstract

Liq. compsn. for deodorising liq. manures, contains 85-97% of >=1 terpene prod. chosen from pine oils, and oils of distn. tails of terebethine essences. and 3-15% of a biodegradable emulsifier. Also a process for deodorising liq. manure comprises mixing the manure with >=0.00025% by vol. of the above compsn. The use of animal excreta for fertiliser, esp. that from battery animal raising is prejudiced by its nauseating smell. The above compsn. overcomes the bad smell.
