Abstract

Polyadduct from >=1 polyfunctional cpd. contg. active H and a polyfunctional iso-cyanate, contains as principal cross-linking constituent contg. Active H a cpd. (A) which is >=trifunctional and has an equiv. wt. of 70, pref. 50 and esp. 40. It is used as insulation with low water-vapour absorption props., in the building industry. Because (A) has such a low equiv. wt., the polyadduct has improved combustion resistance. It adheres well to metal surfaces. The polyadduct is prepared easily, with only slight variation in quality.
