Abstract

The post to which a sign may be attached is used in particular to mark public transport stops. It is designed so that the information on which it carries is easily visible and the information itself can be quickly changed or added to without the need for removing the whole sign. The post can also be adapted for mounting police telephones, litter-bins, or as a support for advertising signs. The vertical support (1) has a hollow triangular cross-section. One face is made of several plates (2) held in place by two flanges (3) located longitudinally on the support. To reinforce the support, it has corner plates (4) which are attached internally perpendicular to its longitudinal axis. Detachable plates (2) carry the information.
