Abstract

A machine to invert containers and discharge the contents, has a stationary frame (1) on which are mounted two large pulleys (2, 3). These pulleys are driven by chains (4) and an electric motor (5). The pulleys are fixed to a movable frame (8) into which the containers are fitted. Ledges (11, 12) along the lower inner edges of the form carry the weight of the container as the frame is tilted, so inverting the container. The large pulleys are rotated through 180 deg., and a collecting tray or chute (11) is fixed to the rear of the machine to receive the contents of the container. The machine is robust enough to permit working under poor conditions.
