Abstract

The light aircraft has a fuselage (1), undercarriage (2), and a rudder (3), actuated by the rudder bar (4). The engine (5) and pilot's seat (6) are supported by the central mast (7). The flexible wing (10) is attached to the upper end of the mast (7). The wing (10) is of canvas supported on metal tubes (8) attached to a cross member (9). The wing is mounted on the control arm (11) and secured by bracing wires. The control arm is mounted in a bearing which allows the wing to be rotated through a limited angle in any of three planes. The pilot controls the aircraft by moving the wing using the handle at the lower end of the control arm.
