Abstract
The apparatus for generating energy has two vertical tubes (10, 20) with thermally insulated walls (11, 21). The tubes are connected at their lowest ends through a heat exchanger (15). The upper ends are joined through a turbine (25) and a radiator (30). Heat supplied by the exchanger (15) causes the fluid in the tube (20) to expand with consequent reduction in density so that the fluid rises. It flows through the turbine (25) generating power and then gives up heat in the radiator (30). The cold dense fluid then descends in the tube (10) to complete the cycle. Heat from geo-thermal or other natural sources may be used to drive the machine.
