Abstract

A roller blind secured under the overhang of a balcony has its free end attached to the end of an arm which extends telescopically and also swings down to unroll the blind. One end of the arm is attached to a hinge block secured to the wall, and the other end is attached to the blind. The arm is cranked, and in the raised position, the end attached to the blind is horizontal, close under the balcony. The other end slopes down to the hinge block. The part attached to the blind slides telescopically inside the remainder of the horizontal part. A locking handle limits the travel of the sliding part to match the length of the blind.
