Abstract

The arrangement for distributing of flask closing crown corks has a cork magazine which feeds corks into a beaker on a revolving drum. The indexing rotation of this drum, transport corks to a position where corks are blown by compressed air directly on the necks of flasks below. The distributor ensures that corks are correctly positioned on the bottles. Each radial beaker (9) on the drum has a finger (17) which projects into a beaker and there contacts the head of the cork laterally independently of the cork size. The finger is connected to a restoring lever (19). The finger is loaded usually by a spring (22) loaded plate (20). This plate is actuated by a pneumatic piston (26) for withdrawing the finger from the beaker.
