Abstract

In an open packaging box, is formed by folding up an e.g. cardboard blank to produce different dimensions of the box. From a single blank two different size boxes for holding articles can be formed. Pref. the blank has a central portion which forms the base of the box and side tabs which can be folded over to form the sides. Pref. one end has an end tab which can be folded over to form one end of the box whilst the other end has a variable end tab which can be either folded over along a line connecting it with the central portion to produce a small dimension box, or folded over along a central line extending across variable end tab to form a larger dimension box.
