Abstract

Frusto-conical moulded plastic feet for cardboard pallets have larger ends with two sets of annular flanges (4, 5) of approximately equal length. The space between the two sets of flanges is occupied by the base of a cardboard pallet, when the foot is inserted through a pallet aperture. The smaller lower ends of the feet are closed and are rounded rectangular shaped. When the pallet feet are oriented in the same direction as the direction of transfer of the pallets on a roller conveyor the length (L) of the lower ends is at least equal to the distance between the axes of two adjacent rollers.
