Abstract

The flat-base cartridge syringe is for pasty materials, distributing them by pressure on the piston via a nozzle. It can comprise an extruded tube (1) and a cover (4) secured to each other by high-frequency or ultrasonic welding, dependent on the material used. The cover can fit outside or inside the tube. Compared with the conventional injection-moulding or blowing process, the design is cheap to produce.
