Abstract

The lorry cab bunk has a plate retracted by pivoting and accommodating the bedding. The plate (1) has one or more pairs of removable pivots (4, 5) by which is engages with the cab walls (6). Each pivot has one part (4) on the plate and a second (5) on the wall. The second parts are mounted at stowage height, and at the height suitable for use. The distance between the parts fixed to the cab is the same as between those fixed to the plate. The pivots can comprise trunnions on the plate fitting in sockets on the cab walls, the latter of U-section and open towards the cab roof (2).
