Abstract

The automatic wiring system, for controlling the wiring connections in wiring up telephone equipment has central logic with a memory retaining the addresses of the points requiring wiring and connected to the outputs of test equipment. The logic has a first memory for the addresses of points to be connected by the same wire, and a second memory for the address on the same wire. The comparator compares the contents of these two memories. The memories are connected to the test circuits via an address decoder. The central logic unit comprises two translators - one for the wiring point addresses in the first memory, and the other for the second memory.
