Abstract
Data transmission system follows the principle of time division multiplexing, in which the transmission channel interposed between the terminal stations is divided into several sections and in which a control signal is introduced, at regular time intervals, in the series of time division multiplex signals transmitted. At the start of each transmission section, in the sense of transmission the control signal is reformed and introduced again in the correct form, independently of the fact that it is received at this station in a disturbed fashion or not, from the preceding transmission section. In different intermediate stations a pulse generator is placed which produces a series of pseudo-random signals. The generator is controlled when a succession of bits, emanating from the preceding section, do not appear in the intermediate station.
