Abstract

The solar energy heater panel uses prefabricated synthetic resin honeycomb surfaces and lightweight components for all the heating and hot water production systems. It has a one-piece plate (1) consisting of a series of thin-walled parallel channels (2, 3, 4) dividing the heat-conductive fluid into parallel veins. The channels can be connected at each end to buspipes collecting or distributing the fluid, whether or not under pressure. The lengthwise thin-walled honeycomb passages can be of regular geometrical shape, forming the structure of the plate and acting as ribs. The honeycomb components can be assembled together in sets on top of each other to form batteries.
