Abstract

The holder is intended for a number of tins, jars (5) and the like which are shrink-packed together. The holder is in cardboard and has a flat bottom (1) to receive the jars. The longitudinal sides (3) are bent upwards at right angles along fold lines (2) and serve as lateral supports for the jars. Stepped, pressed-in projections (4) are provided extending from the bottom into the side supports (3). They project into the internal space of the holder and are positioned to extend between pairs of adjacent jars. The vertical portion (4a) of each projection may extend into a widening horizontal portion (4b) whose upper edges (4c) correspond with the periphery of the jars.
