Abstract

Plastics petrol can comprises a spout and a handle which are disposed on and project above the flat upper surface of the can in a plane of symmetry of the can, the spout near one edge and the handle offset towards the opposite edge. The flat lower surface comprises a recess in which are lodged the handle and spout of another can placed underneath in a stack of cans. Pref. the handle and recess include projecting portions and receding portions to prevent relative transverse displacement between cans.
